The main building was originally built as a residence in 1906. Subsequent renovations and significant additions converted the building for commercial use during the 1980's. CSA was engaged to redesign and reconfigure the layout of the building, as well as to incorporate significant life-safety upgrades, for its use as a school for gifted children. CSA was involved in securing planning and zoning board approvals, as well as preserving what has become a familiar local landmark. The design seeks to provide a friendly and stimulating learning environment without overshadowing the unique character of the original building.
