Galleria I & II
New York City

A 1,500 square feet condominium residence in New York City was extensively renovated for a bi-coastal couple in the entertainment industry. After completing the design of their Los Angeles condominium we were asked to design a very "New York" pied-a-terre. Our design solution was to create a jewel-like space, fully lined with stained English Sycamore wall panels, that serves as a vessel for the client's collection of mid 20th century European and American furniture and furnishings. First phase construction was completed in 2002. A second phase, extending the design ideas and nearly doubling the total square footage into an adjacent unit was completed during the summer of 2004. A third extension is planned for 2005.
