This
on-going series of projects for a new financial institution in the Philippines
establishes an architectural identity for its headquarters and many branches.
A professional image of sobriety and dynamism, seemingly contradictory
but appropriate for the banking sector, is conveyed through a modern architectural
idiom. The design incorporates a series of planes and volumes, expressed
in glass, wood veneer and stone, to create movement and tension within
a calm and composed context. To date, CSA has designed three generations
of headquarters buildings, and over 75 branches throughout the Philippines.
