CS Architecture LLC is a full service architecture, interior design and consulting firm established in 1992, based in Redding, Connecticut. Its partners, Jason Chai and Anna Sy, established CS Design Consultancy, Inc. in Manila in 1994, in response to increasing demand for services throughout Asia. Currently, the firm handles a wide range of corporate, commercial, educational and residential projects in North America and South East Asia.

The common thread in the diverse range of designs and locales in the work of CS Architecture is a recognition and accommodation of local architectural heritage, building traditions, climatic conditions, and, especially, the particular needs of our clients. Our award winning work has been published in magazines and books in the United States, Philippines, Australia, Singapore and Korea.

Ms. Sy is the Managing Director of CS Design Consultancy, Inc., Philippines. Prior to establishing the practice, she was a design architect in the Los Angeles office of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, responsible for design and construction documentation on projects ranging from beach front hotels to corporate interiors and amusement parks. Presently she heads the operations of the Manila office with responsibilities including single family and high-rise condominium residences, commercial buildings, corporate interiors, and institutional facilities. Ms. Sy has design responsibilities for all international projects and is a registered architect in the United States.

Mr. Chai is the Managing Director of CS Architecture LLC, USA. Following his studies, Mr. Chai gained practical experience in several high profile design firms in Boston, New York and Los Angeles. As design architect with Skidmore, Owings and Merrill he participated in the design of high-rise condominiums, hotels, office buildings and corporate interiors. Since beginning his collaboration with Ms. Sy, he has expanded the firms’ area of expertise to include educational facilities and custom residences. He brings an uncommonly extensive level of practical experience in construction as the founding partner of a turnkey design-build firm from 1992 through 1999.

Beginning in 2005, he has been the lead partner engaged as consulting architect to Edward J. Minskoff Equities, Inc., a real estate development company responsible for developing, building and managing over five million square feet of commercial, retail and residential projects throughout the United States. CS Architecture lends its experience and expertise on design, constructability, and construction contract implementation throughout the building process, and continuing on to facilities maintenance.
